Animal or Fowl Application for Permit

 

No person shall keep or maintain animals as herein defined within the corporate limits of the Town of Granby unless such person has a valid permit to do so, and no animals, rabbits or fowl shall be allowed to run or fly at will.

 

Application for a permit to keep animals, rabbits or fowl shall be made in writing to the Town Clerk. Following application, the Town Clerk shall cause the premises to be inspected and if all conditions herein provided are complied with shall authorize issuance of the permit. If a permit is denied or at the request of the Town Clerk, a hearing regarding approval of an application may be set before the town board. A permit shall continue unless revoked as herein provided, and shall be issued upon the payment of a permit or application fee of $10.00 for each horse or mule and an application fee of $10.00 for rabbits or fowl.
