The Short-Term Rental Property Checklist contains helpful information and links to assist new rental property owners with the registration process and requirements. Please review the checklist before registering any new property. 

 

REGISTRATION & RENEWALS-

All new and existing short-term rental (STR) properties within the Town of Granby must register online with MUNIRevs/GovOS. The MUNIRevs/GovOS program is where you will complete an online permit application, submit required documentation, pay fees, and renew the account each year.  

 

FEES-

There is a one-time application fee of $100. The annual permit fee, as of January 1, 2024, is $728 per bedroom. The Town has not established a local lodging tax, however the Town has established an impact fee for short term rentals that may fall under the broad definition of "local lodging tax" in this instance, which includes includes fees pursuant to C.R.S. § 39-26-802(1)(a.5)(II)(B).

 

FIRE SAFETY-

Grand Fire Protection District #1 requires that all short-term rentals MUST be equipped with a Knox Box and have an annual inspection.
